The late Mr. Malik Noor Khan laid the foundation of Awan Cargo Services in 1970, starting humbly with a single Bedford truck. Through unwavering determination, hard work, and a clear vision, he gradually built the company into a respected name in the transportation industry.
Mr. Noor Khan was known not only for his entrepreneurial spirit but also for his unwavering principles and ethical approach to business. His values—honesty, discipline, and customer-centric service—became the cornerstone of the company’s culture and continue to guide its operations to this day.
He passed away on 16th February 2016, leaving behind a legacy of strength, resilience, and dedication. His contributions laid a solid foundation for future generations, particularly his son, Mr. Malik Abid Hussain, who has carried forward the family legacy with the same passion and integrity.
Mr. Malik Abid Hussain – Founder & Managing Director
Mr. Malik Abid Hussain is a seasoned entrepreneur and business leader with over 30 years of hands-on experience in the logistics and petroleum sectors. He took over the reins of his family’s logistics business, Awan Cargo Services, in 1994 after the passing of leadership from his late father, Mr. Malik Noor Khan. Under his guidance, the business expanded significantly, keeping pace with modern industry standards while staying true to its core values of integrity, reliability, and service.
In 2004–2005, Mr. Hussain founded Sukka Petroleum Services, a venture born out of his deep industry insight and commitment to diversification. Since its inception, the company has grown steadily, known for its efficient operations, strong client relationships, and a steadfast commitment to quality.
Throughout his career, Mr. Malik Abid Hussain has remained dedicated to upholding the strong business ethics and principles instilled by his father. His leadership continues to drive both Awan Cargo Services and Sukka Petroleum Services towards sustained growth, while maintaining the legacy of professionalism and hard work.
